Cornerstone’s Communications Team will submit all website change requests (new or updated events, new or updated pages and redirects) via the Live Design request portal.

Some website change requests will be initiated by the Communications Team, such as when a new series is upcoming; other website change requests will be initiated by the Ministries.

Website Update

Website change requests will be made through the Communications Project Request Form.  This includes:

  • Content updates
  • New event
  • New redirect
Any approved edit or addition will be made within ten calendar days and all requests will be tracked within basecamp.

URLs

We will only promote URLs with CornerstoneAZ.com.

We will remove all promotion that includes an invalid URL / broken link.

The only email address that will be promoted is Info@CornerstoneAZ.com

When you write out our URL, here is the standard for how it is to be written across all communication.

Childcare

  1. In ServiceU, please make sure you identify YES OR NO to needing childcare for your event.
  2. Communications Project Request Form asks DOES THIS EVENT OFFER CHILDCARE?
    1. If yes, you must insert the Rock childcare link to the project request form before completing submission
    2. Work with Children’s ministry, Suzanne, to get this form created (Suzanne will be creating these as they are submitted in ServiceU).
  3. The Event on the website will be created with 2 buttons: REGISTER (for the event) and GET CHILDCARE  (for events with childcare)

All event registration will occur in The Rock.

Events

If something occurs 12 times / year or less, it’s an event and will only be promoted on the website as such; if it occurs more than 12 times / year, it’s not an event and will be represented on the ministry page, such as Women’s weekly Bible Studies.

Ministry launches such as Women’s Fall Bible Studies will be an event.  Launches will remain as an event on the website until two instances have passed and at that time, any links on the website will be changed to go directly to The Rock.

If there is any type of sign up for an event, Ministries will create a Rock form and provide that URL in the event request form. All event registration will occur within The Rock.  Nothing will be promoted that uses EventBrite or SignUpGenius or any other tool except when approved by the Communications Director.

Events will not be posted and are not to be requested on CornerstoneAZ.com until any needed Rock forms have been created.

Rock forms must be active for any event to be added / remaining on the website.

No promotional material will be advertised for an event until it is on CornerstoneAZ.com.

Events that have passed will automatically be removed from the website without request.

Event details will include date, time, physical location and two paragraphs.  The first paragraph will be text that compels a visitor to attend the event. The second paragraph will provide any details such as “Dinner will be provided free of charge. Casual attire.”.

Event Graphics will be Brand only – no additional text, sized 1920×1080.  Approximately 150px of margin will be on all four sides of the brand.

Links will be included when appropriate. Events can have up to three buttons with links to Rock forms:

  1. Register
  2. Get Childcare
  3. Volunteer

Event Graphics will be sized 1920×1080

No sub ministry branding – only event branding
No dates, times, etc. – only text should be what is part of the event branding
maintain 150px margin around the the graphic
